The Voice disorders constitute one of the important axes that the Orthophoniste cares about, whether these disorders exist in ordinary people or people with special needs.

This is what we seek through the current study that aimed to search for the acoustic phonetic characteristics of children with Dawn syndrome, who are integrated into special classes in ordinary elementary school of the National Association for Scholar and Professional Integration of Trinomial Children (ANIT).

Our main target behind this research is to show the quality of vocal disturbances that affect the characteristics of the sound such as Intensity, Pitch and Timbre in this children's category.

With the help of “Praat” software to analyze the acoustic properties of the sound, and using the descriptive method, a conclusion was reached that confirms the disorders of the acoustic phonetic characteristics of these children, as it appears a Dysphonia due to the morphological symptoms that affect the vocal system, as well as the organic abnormalities of the articulation system, and all of this it is due to the genetic defect represented by an increased number of chromosomes in pair 21.
