Basic laws as a type of legislation are distinguished by a special importance within constitutional provisions, and this is due in particular to the oversight they are subject to before their issuance, since the basic laws contain issues of a constitutional nature, and in their protection the principle of the supremacy of the constitution is fulfilled, and the Constitutional Council is concerned with the process of oversight to which it is subject Basic laws, through all stages of their enactment, therefore the Constitutional Council is considered a fundamental partner in preparing basic laws, and this research is an affirmation of this specificity contained in the basic laws within the constitutional provisions.
