Abstract EN

The downfall of Granada had a considerable impact on the town planning of the Medina of El Djazaïr after the significant movement of the Moors from Andalusia to the coastal towns of North Africa.

These Andalusians established in Algiers were so skilful in the field of building arts and therefore contributed to the blooming of a new spirit of mixed creativity in the field of architecture.

and the emergence of a school of architecture rich in new techniques of an oriental style.

Among these Andalusians who marked history, Ousta Moussa Al Andaloussi, a great master and his two sons Ali and Ibrahim, authors of several civil, religious and defensive constructions.

Through our intervention, we hope to highlight the building profession and the contribution of the Andalusian diaspora of Ottoman Algiers in this art, through archives and inscriptions.

La chute de Grenade a eu un impact considérable sur l'urbanisme de la Medina d'El Djazaïr après le déplacement important des maures d'Andalousie vers les villes côtières d'Afrique du nord.

Ces Andalous établis à Alger étaient fort adroits dans le domaine des arts du bâti et ont donc contribué à l'épanouissement d'un nouvel esprit de créativité mixte dans le domaine de l'architecture, et l'apparition d'une école d'architecture riche de nouvelles techniques d'un style oriental.

Parmi ces Andalous dont l'histoire a retenu le nom, l'Ousta Moussa Al Andaloussi, un grand maître et ses deux fils Ali et Ibrahim auteurs de plusieurs constructions d'utilité civile, religieuse et défensivesA travers notre intervention, nous escomptons mettre en évidence le métier du bâtiment et la contribution de la diaspora Andalouse d'Alger Ottomane dans cet art, à travers des documents d'archives et des inscriptions.
