كان الهدف من تطوير زراعة الحبوب في الجزائر بين 1962 و 2017 تكثيف الإنتاج و لكن النتائج التي تم الحصول عليها كانت ضعيفة.
شعبة إنتاج القمح تظهر كالمثال النموذجي.
من جهة أخرى، هذه الشعبة تعتمد بشكل كبير على السوق العالمي وذلك بسبب فشل التصنيع في الجزائر في إقامة علاقات متناغمة بين الصناعة القاعدية و الفلاحة.
واردات القمح كان الهدف منها منذ البداية تكميل الإنتاج الوطني، لكن الفشل في تحقيق هذا الهدف جعلها تصبح تدريجيا المصدر الرئيسي لتموين السكان مما أدي إلى فصل الإنتاج الفلاحي عن الصناعات الغذائية
Abstract EN
The development of the cereal culture between 1962 and 2017 had been guided by the affirmation of an intensification scope and by a stepping between this scope and the results obtained in the production.
The wheat production chain appears as the typical example.
Moreover, this channel of the wheat is strongly dependent on the worldwide market, because of the industrialization which has not been successful in establishing harmonious relationships between the basic industry and agriculture.
The imports of wheat at the beginning designed as a complement of the national production, are progressively about to constitute the main source of supply for the population and by the same time performing the disconnection between the cereal culture and the agro food industries.

L'évolution de la céréaliculture algérienne entre 1962 et 2017 a été guidée par l'affirmation d'un objectif d'intensification et par un décalage entre cet objectif et les résultats obtenus dans la production.
La filière de production des blés apparaît comme l'exemple typique.
Par ailleurs, cette filière est fortement dépendante du marché mondial, du fait du processus d'industrialisation qui n'a pas réussi à établir de relations harmonieuses entre l'industrie de base et l'agriculture.
Les importations de blés conçues au départ comme complément de la production nationale, vont progressivement constituer la principale source d'approvisionnement de la population tout en réalisant la déconnexion entre la céréaliculture et les industries agro-alimentaires.
