Abstract EN

The study aims to examine the psychological and social repercussions caused by Covid 19 pandemic on the Algerian family in the city of Mascara.

For this purpose, the research went through the following methodology: determining the concepts and the approach that is to be the descriptive approach and the interpretative one; and relying on the structural and functional theory.

As for the technique used to collect data, it is to be observation and interviewing.

The results revealed that: - Covid 19 represents a source of anxiety and fear for the family members.

-Poor social relationships under pandemic.
