Abstract EN

I attempt to highlight multiple and varied poetic imprints in a set of anthologies, that survey the real and artistic locale between the lived reality and the imaginative depiction by poets chosen from different eras.

The Arab poets innovated with a rich and varied distinction in the sufi theme.

I also seek from the study of those selections to indicate the semantic, linguistic and artistic features, and demonstrate the reaction which the poet treats while he is in the locale between reality feeling and poetic figuration, and the same thing towards the receiver when he savors sufi discourse in the language of symbolism and figurative speech.

Among the results that I reached is the distinction of the sufi poet from other poets in the nature of depiction due to his strong fondness of thesufi locale, state and taste.

To the sufi, the locale is an ascent and a hermitage to seclude himself for worshipping and reflecting.

Besides, sufi poets curry favor with the Godly Lofty Being with moderate loving soul and attachment to the divine secret and Hereafter.
