Abstract EN

The study sought to clarify the Covid-19 Pandemic effects in the financial commitments for some civilians in the Islamic Banking Sector, through Murabahah Contract in interest of the Purchaser, and that is from the view point of Islamic Jurisprudence Ruling.

And these effects have led some to being incapable of paying off their bank instalments, which had pushed Emirate's Central Bank - in order to face that Pandemic and lighten its impact - to issue a decision directed to Banks recommending to respite the faltering debtors affected by the Pandemic.

And this Study had depended on the following Methodologies: Inductive, Analytical, and Deductive.

And it had reached to a number of conclusions, of which the most important were: 1- Implementing the concept of "Respite until Ease" in the Emirati Islamic Banking Sector regarding some civilians who've become incapable of paying their instalments in due time, because of the implications of the Covid-19 Pandemic upon them.

2- The Emirates' Central Bank issuing a decision in which it directs Islamic Banks and other Banks, to respite the faltering debtors affected by the Pandemic, abiding by the aforementioned concept, However it had categorised it under the recommended, and not obligatory measures.

3- Dubai Islamic Bank implementing what had been mentioned in the decision of Emirates' Central Bank regarding the debtors affected by the Pandemic for the period of three months for the due instalment, and one month for those who aren't affected, considering that this measure in his regards is to be classified under the recommended and not obligatory measures.
