Theater is one of the oldest types of art, a literary form and an artistic banquet in which many elements interact.

Thus, its role isn't limited only in enjoying people and making them happy, but it translates the creator's vision and feelings and reflects contradictions occurring between conscious and unconscious experiences, realistic and ideal, central and marginal ones….

the goal of this art is always to respond to the different era's needs.

The present work is an attempt to highlight aesthetics of dramatic building in Saad Allah Wenous's piece of theater, entitled “elephant, O the king of time” by studying mechanisms used in building his text and how events have been developed.

to study this vision, there are many problems to raise, such: Do ideas dealt with in the piece agree withArab political reality? How can the creator give a solution to bridge the gap between governor and people? Where do the mechanisms of art aesthetic intersect with ways followed inshowing the truth of political discourse?
