Translation and terminology: where do translation and terminology meet? Translating terminology is a major problem faced by translators when transferring a text from its source language to the targted one.

The translator, however, has to translate the term and its specifities knowing that the concept is shared among people who give just different terms to name things.

Tanslation draws its importance from the role it plays in joining people from different languages and cultures.

In order to better connect between nations, translation is based on terminology.

This reasearch paper is an attempt to shed light on translation, terminology and the relation between the two disciplines.
