Abstract EN

This research aims at shedding light on the social and cultural elements that played an important role in exchange of a range of knowledges, techniques and customs between Morocco and Western Europe during the rule of The Saadian state from the beginning of the 16th century until the beginning of the second half of the 17th century, in the forefront: the Jews, the prisoners and the Moriscos.

This research comes in a method that focuses on the social aspect of the issue of interaction between the two sides instead of addressing them in a traditional way based on narrative and generalization.

Which is reflected in the recognition of historical roles of this elements in the various exchanges between the two shores during this stage and to determine the extent of their contribution.
