The terminology and critical mechanisms of contemporary literary criticism have varied, and their approaches have also varied, especially those taken from many fields of knowledge (mathematics, physics, ...), and among those mechanisms we find isomorphism, which was transferred from the field of physics to the field of literary criticism.

through this research, we tried to discover its concepts and applications among some contemporary Maghrebian critics, and we preceded them with its manifestations in contemporary western criticism.
