Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight banking governance while noting the reality of its application at the level of Algerian banks, especially since the country has experienced several crises at the level of some private banks such as the Khalifa Bank crisis and the crisis of the Algerian Bank Company, and is currently witnessing and witnessing some crises at the level of public banks.

These crises will be the result of the Algerian authorities initiating anti-corruption measures, as the study concluded that the application of governance in the Algerian banking system is still in its initial phase, but the experience must be strengthened, especially in light of the openness of the banking market and increased competition.
