Abstract EN

The term sustainable development has always been associated with the term environmental preservation, this is what prompted the countries of the world to organize global summits to find ways to achieve sustainable development through the use of clean or renewable energies, and Algeria is among the countries that have ratified the international conventions concerned with protecting the environment and encouraging the use of renewble energies.

This study aims to identify the legal mechanisms that encourage the use of renewable energies in Algeria and try to discover obstacles, especially legal ones, that prevent the adoption of this approach.
