Smuggling of antiquities is one of the crimes affecting cultural property and the economic components of countries that depend on tourism in the national economy.

Therefore, in this study, we will discuss the dangers of antiquities smuggling that interfere with organized crime and economic crime, and the appropriate means that countries have adopted to combat this crime.

This study has shown us that, despite the existence of legal texts to combat this crime, the lack of attention to antiquities and the existence of loopholes in the legal system to protect them, constitutes a real obstacle to the fight against the smuggling of antiquities, making it necessary to say that the amendment of this system has become a necessity.
