In this research document, I wanted to show the Mu'tazilite view of "Promise and Threat" and its political dimension between obligatory and non-obligatory.

The Mu'tazilites entered into an intellectual debate over political issues with religious concepts, including their urgency and transmission arguments - so that they could give their opinions and legitimate and religious positions that, the non-repentant perpetrator of the major sin will perpetuate in Hellfire.

It is an opinion that has a great impact on psychological pressure on the major sin perpetrator in general and the deviant rulers of the time in particular.

If this is the view of the Mu'tazilites on the origin of the promise and the threat, without any other bands, then what is the objective or the political dimension that they sought behind this view and is their requirement of repentance for the one who committed the major sins - or else he will be immortalized in the hellfire like the infidels - and their refusal of intercession has a political purpose?
