Many countries of the world have recently witnessed a very dangerous epidemic, which is the Corona epidemic, Where Iraq had a share of it, and here is what raised my view to an important issue about contractual obligations in these circumstances that stopped the wheel of life, This caused a crack in the contractual ties for foreign reasons, and the latter talked about the Iraqi Civil Law about the theory of foreign cause in Article 168, Here, we wanted to talk about this epidemic that was declared by the World Health Organization to be cross-border, Which is considered an out of the ordinary and contractual obligations are from the practice of daily life, and the research dealt with it as one of the applications of the foreign cause and reached many results, including that the Corona virus is an emergency circumstance, which is a general accident and adherence to the general circumstance is stressful and not impossible.
