Abstract EN

The study dealt with the educational directives derived from the admonition of Al-Khattab bin Al-Mualla to his son on the ethical aspect and its applications in the family.

The study used the descriptive and deductive approach.

The study dealt with some ethical directives in the admonition, how to benefit from them in raising children.

The research also shed light on the terminological concepts of the educational admonition, its importance and characteristics.

The study reached the following results: The parental admonition is one of the means that affects the children’s souls, as it educates, refines and protects the soul because of the diversity of its vocabulary, styles and purposes.

Through the ethical directives derived from the admonition, it is clear that they touch reality because they are from a divine source.

Commitment to ethical education has great fruits that are evident in the individual's life and the growth and prosperity of society.

Honesty is one of the basic ethics that must be instilled at an early age, as human interactions are based on honesty.
