Abstract EN

The research aims in general to identify the extent to which smart device applications are employed by Sharia science teachers in the elementary stage in the city of Riyadh, and to achieve the goal of the research, the researcher designed a questionnaire as a tool to collect data, and the research community may consist of all the Sharia science teachers in government schools in the city of Riyadh, whose number is (3601) teachers.

As for the study sample, it reached (397) teachers, who were chosen in a simple random way.

The researcher used the descriptive survey approach, and the research reached several results, most notably: The degree of employing Sharia science teachers for the elementary stage for smart device applications during teaching was (77.8%), the results also showed that there is agreement among the research personnel on the smart device applications that Sharia science teachers can use during teaching by (78.8%), most notably: the school Quran application, audio devices, YouTube, and there is also agreement among the research individuals about obstacles Employing smart device applications in teaching for Sharia science teachers (77.2%), most notably: The high quorum of academic classes for Sharia science teachers, the lack of a maintenance technician and a technician in the school, and by the difference in the years of experience variable in favor of (10) years or more.

There are also statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the average responses of research individuals about each of (the extent of employing Sharia science teachers for the elementary stage for smart device applications during teaching - the most important smart device applications that Sharia science teachers can use during teaching) depending on the difference educational qualification variable in favor of research individuals who have a bachelor's degree.

There are also statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) about the obstacles to employing smart device applications in teaching among Sharia science teachers according to the different training course variable, in favor of those who did not receive training courses.

In light of the results, the researcher made many recommendations, the most important of which are: obligating Sharia science teachers to attend training courses and workshops, and redistributing the quorum of academic classes for Sharia science teachers.
