Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal "the degree to which university administrations practice the principles of strategic leadership, and its relationship to organizational excellence in Jordanian universities.” The researcher used the correlative descriptive approach, and the simple random sample.

The following dimensions: (strategic leadership, administrative dimension, systems and decisions, ethical dimension).

And organizational excellence represented in the following dimensions: (leadership, human resources, strategy, organizational culture, financial dimension).

The results of the study showed that the degree to which university administrations practice the principles of strategic leadership from the point of view of employees in Jordanian universities came to a medium degree, and that the level of organizational leadership from The viewpoint of employees in Jordanian universities came to a medium degree, and the results also resulted in a positive correlation between the degree of university administrations' practice of strategic leadership principles and the level of organizational excellence at the university.

The study identified a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: Holding courses, seminars or conferences in Jordanian universities to disseminate and enhance the meaning of strategic leadership and its importance in developing administrative and job performance in universities and its impact on the organizational level.
