Abstract EN

The research aims to study the ways in which it can produce a smooth shaft that is exposed to hard working conditions, and when choosing a specific method, learn more details about this method.

The Shaft can be produced in three main ways by a machining operation, casting, forging.

The details of the hot forging including the design of the open die forging were studied.

The third dimensions of forging die were calculated, flush, metal shrinkage increases were calculated, the parting line is positioned.

The open forging die is including of the cavity length, the distribution cavity and the cavity of the finished product.

Heating is in a slow and fast stages.

It was chosen a pneumatic double acting hammer.
