Abstract EN

Summary: Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, Heis the guide of confused and lost, the mostgentle, on him we entrusted and seek assistance, and blessings and peace be upon whocame as a mercy to the worlds, his familyand companions.

Afterwards: Gold and silver when they reach a specificamount Zakat is required, whetherthey were cash or bars, this means twentyshekels or dinars for gold which equals toeighty-five grams.

Historians agreed that Sharia confirmed theofficial dinar weighs 4.25 fines, and accordingly, the amount of gold is 4.25*20 = 85grams of gold.

While in Sharia silver is equal to 2, 975*200= 595 grams of silver, as in Quran ''Believers! Surely, many of the Priests and monksdevour people's wealth by false means andhinder from the way of Allah.

As for thosewho treasure up gold and silver and do notexpend in Allah's cause, give them glad tidingsof a painful chastisements''.

Imam Al-Jabarti, may Allah have mercy onhim mentioned in his book (Nuzhat Al-AynFi Zakat Al-Ma'adanin) which the researchis about, the amount of Zakat whether it isgold or silver and what must be done.

So, the imam made an introduction, threechapters and a conclusion.

The introduction: the statement of Zakat.

Chapter one: who is obligated to.

Chapter two: what is obligatory and thespecific amount.

Chapter three: who should get it? The conclusion: the statement of weightand dirham.

So, the research is in two sections: Section one: the academic section which isin two chapters: a) Chapter one: it has two demands.

Demand one: Al-Jabarti's personal life.

Demand two: Al-Jabarti's scientific life.

b) Chapter two: includes four demands: Demand one: (the book name, its attribution, the reason and importance for its authorship).

Demand two: (the author's sources).

Demand three: (my investigating methodology).

Demand four: ( describing the handwrittencopy and the manuscript samples).

Section two: ( a copy was made from theoriginal because the latter belongs to theauthor himself).

The conclusion relies on Quranic verses, prophetic Hadiths, and references of certainbooks.

May Allah's blessings and peace be uponour prophet Muhammad, his family andcompanions, and praise be to Allah, Lordof the worlds.
