Research Summary: Western thought has a clear impact on theArab and Islamic arena, and what are theideas, philosophies and visions of the Westtoday that have an impact on the world today; Therefore, in this research, I will discussthe definition of the concept of secularismand secularization in language andterminology, and the definition of this conceptby some Western and Arab thinkers, and the most prominent effects of this secularizationon human thought, religion, manand the world, and the most prominent effectsthat resulted from it, which led to thetransformations that took place in the contemporaryworld today.

From the comprehensiveand olute vision that transcendsreligion to making it a historical productthat mankind has developed and will endin favor of the new gods - modernity andsecularism - and from the comprehensivenessof religion in all areas of life to limitingit to the private sphere as a kind of individualsalvation or confining it to the mosqueand the church, or adopting it as a kind ofpsychological tranquilizers to escape Fromthe materialistic model that is pressing onhuman life today, which has caused psychologicalcrises, depression and loss ofmeaning from life, as well as we will showthe effects of this secularization on man byreducing him to the material aspect, andremoving the rest of the other aspects thatcharacterize man from the rest of the creatures, and accordingly it was done accordingto the secular vision The secularizationof man, his rationalization, and his objectificationaccording to the secular materialisticmodel, and finally I will address thecriticism of these effects by showing theirreduction and contradiction to reality andtheir bitter effects Blessings on man and theworld.
