Abstract EN

Western thought has a clear impact on the Arab and Islamic arena, and what are the ideas, philosophies and visions of the west today that have an impact on the world today; therefore, in this research, i will discuss the definition of the concept of secularism and secularization in language and terminology, and the definition of this concept by some western and Arab thinkers, and the most prominent effects of this secularization on human thought, religion, man and the world, and the most prominent effects that resulted from it, which led to the transformations that took place in the contemporary world today.

from the comprehensive and absolute vision that transcends religion to making it a historical product that mankind has developed and will end in favor of the new gods-modernity and secularism-and from the comprehensiveness of religion in all areas of life to limiting it to the private sphere as a kind of individual salvation or confining it to the mosque and the church, or adopting it as a kind of psychological tranquilizers to escape from the materialistic model that is pressing on human life today, which has caused psychological crises, depression and loss of meaning from life, as well as we will show the effects of this secularization on man by reducing him to the material aspect, and removing the rest of the other aspects that characterize man from the rest of the creatures, and accordingly it was done according to the secular vision the secularization of man, his rationalization, and his objectification according to the secular materialistic model, and finally i will address the criticism of these effects by showing their reduction and contradiction to reality and their bitter effects blessings on man and the world.
