Since poetry is the mirror of the total inner spirit and inner mood of the poet, using high capacity of colors plays a substantial role in indicating the poets’ experiences as well as their inner thoughts.

Because they depict the meanings and concepts which poet always encounters in experience of his poetry or cultivates in his thought.

Although valuable research has been conducted so far in the field of color signification, in the field of thoughts and ideas of the blind Arab philosopher; Abol Ala Moari has not received much attention, however there is a large field for research and study for the researchers.

Therefore, it makes the proposed research to focus on the meaning of colors and its concept in the poetry of Abol Ala Moari, the great and blind poet of the Abbasid era, and seeks to find the main origin of the true color and its meanings in his poetry as well as to examine the role of the poet's memory and his other senses except blindness-in his poetic approach to the colors, and the meaning and the frequency of which color prevails over another in his poetry.
