Abstract EN

In the contemporary world, there is a lot of emphasis on rationalism, but due to the limitations that limit human intellect, the process of cognition depends on other things as well.

This issue can be seen in the works of various Muslim and non-Muslim thinkers.

The intellectual limitations of man must be supplemented by other things in order to acquire the proper knowledge to attain true happiness.

This article deals with the views of Ibn Arabi and Rumi on the way to compensate for the limitations of human intellect by descriptiveanalytical method and citing library sources.

The findings of this article are the emphasis of each of these two thinkers on the limitations of reason and the impasses that lie ahead, and the need to pay attention to the teachings of the true and most complete religions.

Ibn Arabi and Rumi jointly paid attention to the issue with different methods that by choosing a guide that was explained in monotheistic religions, man can overcome the limitations of reason and walk on the path of transcendence.
