The scholar of Sabit al-Nili is an Iraqi scholar from the city of Hilla, and he has spoken of a theory that has aroused the opinions of other scholars; For its strangeness in what was commented on in the collective mind, and among these opinions he said that he denied the occurrence of metaphor in the Arabic language, and denied the occurrence of metaphor, as well as denied the existence of metonymy in the Holy Quran.

This was attributed to reasons including: the independence of each term in a sense, and that the morphological form of the Arabic term performs a meaning that no other formula of the same article does.

Likewise, the syntactic syntax of the Arabic sentences is completely compensated by another syntax, as a lack of it is single or more than it will give another meaning.
