History is the indicator of the predecessors'words and actions.

It is a mirror reflecting the culture and life of the ancestors.

Taking lessons from the checkered historical events is the most important goal which the Islamic historians consider base on the Quranic verses.Some Quranic verses clearly domonstrate that the end of the prophets' mission and that of taking lessons from the destiny of the predecessors is to motivate the men to acquire experiences for their soul purification and straight way.

Sahib Ibn Abbad is one of the poets drawing a clear picture of the Islamic background, presenting value teachings, based on the events of the Islamic history.

The paper,which is based on a descriptive- analytical method, aims to study the historical events in the poetry of Sahib Ibn Abbad, analyzing the hidden concepts in them.It shows that he aims to prove his love to the prophet' progeny on the one hand, and defend their goal by his tongue on the other.
