The paper addresses decision-making in the European Union, focusing on the structure that constitutes the basic frameworks for this process.

It also focuses on the most important institutions of the European Union that intervenes in the decision-making and decision-making process and makes them known and their terms of reference.

The importance of the paper and the issue addressed is linked to the importance of the European decision itself, which is closely linked to the foreign policy of the Union, which must be further understood in order to understand European trends and movements' vis-à-vis regional and international actors.

The paper aims to analyse how European political decision-making within the framework of European institutions, with reference to the legal frameworks governing the process in the Maastricht Treaty and subsequent legal amendments, devoted to a delicate and binding decision process.
