The Jews in Egypt who hold Egyptian nationality or of different nationalities played an effective , influential and important role in various economic , social and political aspects .

The strength of its economy .

In Egypt , the British occupation authorities opened up job opportunities for the Jews at that time , thus increasing the number of Jewish immigrants to Egypt in search of wealth and stability .

The system of privileges that granted the Jews secured the protection of foreign consuls , exemption from taxes , investment freely, and the transfer of their money abroad easily and smoothly until Jewish families such as Kattawi , Rollo , Swares , Menashe , Moussiri and others were able to control the direction of the Egyptian economy until the first half of the twentieth century
