The current research deals with the term of “Vowelization” or “Becoming a vowel” as it was dealt with by the ancients and modernists, so the research accepts the first and see no justification for the second.

It follows the ancients’ justification for the change of letters aw and yaa’ into the letter alif.

It come up with the conclusion that “Ibin Jiny” had his decisive opinion which leaves no way for any further opinion.

Then research moves to Dr.

Ibraheem Al-Samarrai’s opinion regarding vowelization of the Ajwaf Verb between the two pictures of the two letters waw and yaa’.

This study focuses on the history of the development of the Ajwaf verb (vowelization of the middle letter of the verb) and studies its changing to the final “Ajwaf status” as well as its preservation of origin.

It also presents an explanation of what is enlisted under these cases of minute details by using the historic and comparative approaches.
