Because the chambers of commerce are considered one of the most important institutions organizing economic activity in general and commercial activity in particular, Kirkuk Chamber of Commerce worked effectively during the period 1969-2003 in revitalizing economic life and removing obstacles that stand in front of commercial and industrial activities, through various means such as sending notes, telegrams.

Delegations, holding meetings with government officials, participating in various committees, as well as holding seminars and participating in local and international conferences, concluding some economic agreements with chambers of commerce in neighboring countries to facilitate commercial activity and document economic relations.

Its activity was not limited to the commercial and industrial fields.

It has different positions on the political level, where she recorded many national positions, and at the cultural level, where it often provided support for cultural activities, as well as its social positions in providing support to the needy.
