After more than a hundred years have passed since the British occupation of Iraq.

Despite the studies that were subjected to these latest, they did not focus on the battles of the Basra coast, which are considered or collisions between the Ottoman and British forces.

Meters, and four important battles occurred, and the occupying forces took more than one path in their progress.

The focus was on the Battle of Al-Shuaiba.

The aim of our study is to thoroughly touch between the strategic aspects of these important battles, which were absent from the Ottoman authorities, if they did not give them the required attention at the time, and thus are the gateway to the fall of Basra and the rest of the Iraqi cities to Mosul .
