Ar' science of history is surely a natural development in Islam, for that the new religion, the formation of an empire, and the establishment of a fixed calendar, have all set the basis for that.

The Islamic trends represented in interest through the Prophet's biography, the nation's consensus and experiences, the opinions and rulings of its scholars, as well as the major incidents that defined its historical course were all considered big motives in studying the history of the city.

On the other hand, the tribal trends towards caring for genealogies and poetry in the new tribal centers in Kufa and Basra continued in a new framework.
