يتناول البحث علم "محاكاة الطبيعة" و مدى استخدامها كمقدمة لخلق تصاميم معاصرة و يركز على أسلوب تقليد الطبيعة (المحاكاة)، و الذي يعتبر من أهم طرق الابتكار و يتضمن محاكاة الحيوانات و النباتات لاستخدام حلول التصميم الطبيعية و الديناميكية لإنتاج تصميمات مبتكرة تعزز مفهوم الاستدامة.
و يستخدم الباحث هذا العلم لتقديم أشكال مختلفة من الأنواع الطبيعية و كيفية الاستفادة منها في تصاميم المنتجات المعدنية المعاصرة، ثم يعرض نموذجا لوحدة إضاءة معدنية باستخدام حلول مبتكرة مستوحاة من محاكاة الطبيعة في تصميمها.
و يعتمد البحث على مجموعة من المحاور أهمها المحاكاة الحيوية“Biomimicry” و طرق محاكاة الطبيعة و النظام الهندسي في الأشكال الطبيعية، و الثاني هو الابتكار حيث يتم تعريف الابتكار و خصائص الابتكار في المنتج.
ثم يتم عرض لتصميمات معدنية مستوحاة من نماذج محاكاة الطبيعة، و تصميم الباحث لوحدة إضاءة معدنية مستلهمة من محاكاة الطبيعة.
و أخيرا، خلصت الدراسة إلى إمكانية استخدام محاكاة الطبيعة لإنتاج حلول تصميم مبتكرة للمنتجات المعدنية، و أن هناك حاجة لتحقيق التكامل بين فروع العلوم الطبيعية و التقنية و التطبيقية للمساهمة في إنتاج منتجات صديقة للبيئة و مستدامة.
Abstract EN
The paper studies the science of “Biomimicry” or imitation of nature, and how to utilize it to create contemporary designs.
It starts by defining biomimicry and innovation.
Then, the style of imitating nature is highlighted, which is considered one of the most important methods of innovation.
It includes simulating animals and plants (in their environmental conditions) to use the natural and dynamic design solutions to produce innovative designs, that enhance the concept of sustainability.
Various forms of natural species are presented, to show their benefit in contemporary metal product designs.
Finally, a model of a metal lighting unit is developed, where innovative ideas inspired by silkworm cocoon are used in its design.
The study concluded that Biomimicry offers many innovative and sustainable design solutions, through the aesthetic values presented by nature.
Theses design solutions can be applied to metal and artistic products in general which are efficient and sustainable.
