This research paper entitled "Britain`s Position on The Accession of Sayid Khalid bin Barghash al-Busaidy in his Ruling of Zanzibar" came to reveal the British role in choosing the most appropriate personality to ascend to power in Zanzibar in line with its policy and colonial goals in the region.

It worked to banish every character who possesses a patriotic sense, represented by Mr.

Khalid, and blocked the way to his attempts by using military force against him.

Those are the most important aspects that the research will try to address.
