Andalusia during the era of the Morabouts and the Monotheists witnessed a flourishing scientific movement.

The courts of rulers and caliphs were considered as assemblies and forums for poets, scholars and writers as well as a market for books.

In addition, the scientific movement was highly focused.

In this scientific environment that Andalus experienced, the family of Ibn Atiya al-Muharribi emerged, which was attended with the interest and care of the Morabout rulers.

Many scholars, jurists and hadith narrators excelled in various sciences and played a major role in the flourishing of the scientific movement as well as their administrative and jihad role alongside their siblings who were stationed against Spanish Forces.

Their supreme grandfather was the highest among the conquistadors who entered Andalusia and gave birth to leading scholars, jurists and senior sheikhs.

They had met several scientific skills and intellectual talents.
