Abstract EN

This study dealt with one of the civilizational aspects of a geographical area that represented the historical depth of Islamic civilization (Western Sudan), where the group of jurists that played a reformist role in the ruling authority in the Kingdom of Singai included the political system and the state’s administrative apparatus, which was reflected in the public life of the state and individuals.

It enabled its stability and prosperity, and the spread of justice and equality between the shepherd and the parish.

Where there emerged a group of jurists who took on this responsibility among them, for example but not limited to: Imam Muhammad bin Abdul Karim al-Maghili, Judge Mahmoud bin Omar Aqit, the jurist Ahmed bin Ahmed bin Omar Aqiq, judge Al-Aqib bin Mahmoud bin Omar, the jurist Mahmoud bin Abi Bakr Bagigh, the jurist Abu Hafs Omar bin Mahmoud, the jurist Ahmad Baba al-Tanbakti, and many others.
