This study aimed to shed light on education in eastern Jordan by reviewing the biography of Irbid Secondary School since its foundation in 1882 to the declaration of independence of Jordan .
The study attempts to present the educational structure that prevailed under the Ottoman , and how the state viewed education in East of Jordandevelopments in education with the establishment of the Emirate of Trans-Jordan, and the emirate's attempts to develop education in accordance with modern curricula.We will refer to the stage in which the school was built on the eastern side of Tel Irbid and its
