This study aimed at introducing the role of the electronic library in supporting e-learning in Sudan Open University through the descriptive study which dealt with the experience of the electronic library in the open university of Sudan.

The objectives of this study are to identify and identify the contributions and facilities they provide in order to enhance and develop them.

The researcher in the deductive approach based on extrapolation of reality through the real experience of the experience, in addition to observation during the work of the researcher and the study concluded that the electronic library at Sudan Open University It needs a lot to be able to provide contributions and facilities in support of e-learning.
