Poetry is first and foremost the delivery of a psychological need; that is why the poet has fulfilled his personal needs acknowledging the fact that he was unique in sensing what others could not.

The ancient Arab poet was aware of this emotional reality, hence why he has delivered an experience overwhelmed with agitations and emotions, hoping that it would awaken a latent subconscious of those around him to achieve an affectionate communication between the two parties.

Whereas the strength of his desire to "shake" and share was strong; the poet diversified styles in order to continue cultivating relationships with his recipients.

Ergo, if he is relieved and his soul is shaken by the admiration for words with no explanation, the poet is provoked and might surprise himself by rousing his discernments.

Noting that the basis of the creative self is the source of its worth.

Ibn Qutaybah was able to observe this potential and has spoken of poetry's reasons as vectors.
