The research problem is determined in monitoring, analyzing and evaluating the research trends that have been addressed by the studies on how electronic platforms of various forms deal with rumors in light of artificial intelligence applications, by tracking studies conducted during the period from 2015 to 2020 with providing an in-depth analytical study of research trends in The field of study, by revealing the most important issues raised by those studies, the intellectual approaches and the theoretical frameworks from which they were launched, in addition to identifying the most prominent methodological tools on which they relied, and finally presenting the most important findings of those studies.

The study belongs to the second-level analytical studies, as it is a methodological that relies on the systematic, analytical review of studies and scientific research that has been published in a specific field or on a specific topic, and that is to come up with the results that the researcher can achieve.

The results differed from it, and it also provides an evaluation framework about the methods, tools, and cognitive frameworks used by these studies.

The total sample size of the studies selected and subject to analysis reached 73 studies, of which 51 are foreign studies and 22 Arab studies.

The study yielded many results related to the main issues covered by the analyzed studies, methodological aspects, theoretical frameworks, and the most prominent results reached, in addition to the most important recommendations raised by these studies.
