Abstract EN

This study sought to reveal emotional regulation and its relationship with positive thinking among Yarmouk University students.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the scale of emotional regulation by Garnefski & Kraaij (2007) was used and translated by the researcher.

Moreover, the scale of positive thinking prepared by Ingram and Weskney and translated by al-Waqad (2012) was also used.

The sample of the study consisted of 986 male and female students.

The results showed that the level of emotional organization among students as a whole was moderate, and the level of positive thinking was moderate as well.

The results indicated that there were no differences in the level of emotional regulation and the level of positive thinking due to the variables of gender, specialization, and academic year.

There was a correlation between emotional regulation and positive thinking among students.
