The article deals with an important stage in the history of contemporary Algeria, where the resistance of Prince Abdelkader is considered an important stage in the beginning of the history of the French occupation in Algeria and it is also the beginning of the history of the struggle of the Algerian people against the French colonizer, and the subject of the article concerns: the role of Prince Abdelkader in the unification of the Algerian people and his establishment of a unified central administration And the imposition of the rule of law, the building of a tight administrative and military organization, and its adherence to Islamic law in the conduct of state affairs and the leadership of the resistance, and commitment to l ethics of tolerance and coexistence in its relations with foreigners.
