Apartheid is regarded as one of the most dangerous crimes against humanity being an extreme form of crimes of discrimination.

Throughout the ages, and even nowadays, such crimes have been committed widely; the most intense of which was the discrimination policies and practices in South Africa that affected different aspects of life.

This drew the attention of the international community to the gravity of this crime and the necessity of taking immediate measures, the latest of which was including the crime of apsrtheid in the definition of Crimes Against Humanity in the statute of the International Criminal Court.

Based on the above account, we asught to highlight the crime of apartheid, presenting the perspective of national and international enactment in fighting it, being a crime that affects humanity and a serious violation of human rights.
