Abstract EN

This research aimed to identify the extent to which the computer is used in teaching the science of engineering and its impact on the achievement of the students of high secondary schools in Sudan (Chapter two) compared to a traditional method.

The researchers used the descriptive and the experimental methods as they are considered to be suitable approaches for such kind of researches.

The study sample included (80) students from Bashir Mohammed Saeed exemplary school and Alkhadraa private school.

40 students were selected from each school.

The research sample is formed from (70) female teachers and teachers of engineering science curricula at high secondary school in Sudan.

The researcher confirmed the validity and reliability of the dada collection tool.

The researcher used the SPSS program to analyze the data.

The research found the following results: Using the Computer in Teaching engineering science has a positive impact on the achievement of the third class students in high secondary school in Sudan.

The number of computers used inengineering science learning in high secondary school is not sufficient.

No application for computers in the curricula of engineering science in Sudanese high secondary schools.

Attitudes of teachers of high secondary schools toward the application of computer in learning engineering science are positive.

The study revealed that, in high secondary schools there are some impediments which prevent the application of computer in learning engineering science, some of which are technical reasons and the others are legislative ones.
