Abstract EN

This study discusses the extent to which the five big factors of personality can predict social responsibility, The descriptive analytical method was used in this study, The sample total was (100) students from the whole sample number(100) students, chosen by the stratified random, the researchers use measurements social responsibility and the five big factors of personality as discussed in Costa and Macri(1992) scale.

Result shows a high level of Neuroticism compared to a low level of Agreeableness factor among students, it was of a medium degree, :There is a significant statistical relationship between the five big factors ofpersonality and the social responsibility.

It also found predictive ability of the Extraversion, openness to experience and Conscientiousness in the formation of personal responsibility, And the predictive ability of the Extraversion, openness to experience and Conscientiousness in the formation of social responsibility, As well as predictive Extraversion, Extraversion, openness to experience and Conscientiousness in the formation of moral and national responsibility.

Finally, in light of the study results and discussion the researcher suggested some recommendations
