Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the reality of e-learning and the obstacles of its use in university education from the viewpoint of faculty members at the University of Babylon College of Education.

The study followed the descriptive analytical method.

The study sample consisted of (23) faculty members and the researcher used the questionnaire as a data collection tool.

The study reached several results, including: The University of Babylon has the necessary environment to use e-learning in teaching, there are obstacles and difficulties that lead to the non-use of e-learning in university education from the point of view of the faculty members of the University of Babylon in the lack of maintenance of equipment, poor students' computer skills, internet.

The study recommended working to improve the environment necessary for e-learning at the university, and the need to train students at the university on the processes of using e-learning and the preparation of e-courses and features and characteristics.
