Abstract EN

The purpose of the study is to investigate the practices of human resources management in Jadara University and its relationship to administrative creativity as perceived by the faculty members.

The study adopted the descriptive correlational approach.

The sample consisted of 220 faculty members (133 males and 87 females) , selected through random cluster sampling.

The researcher administrated a questionnaire of 40 items, divided into human resources management domains and administrative creativity domains.

The results showed that the level of the practice of human resources management was average as well as the level of administrative creativity.

Furthermore, there were no significant statistical differences attributed to gender and academic position in the samples’ perception of the practices of human resources management and administrative creativity; while there were differences attributed to experience, in favor of more than 15 years of experience.

The results showed that there is a positive relationship between the practices of human resources management and administrative creativity.

Based on the findings, the researcher recommended that the administration of Jadara University should pay attention to the compensation system, to enhance the satisfaction of its employees, especially faculty members, and to achieve administrative creativity.
