It also turned out that the most controlling factor in the region is rivers, and perhaps the Shatt Al-Shamiya and its course changes contributed to the formation of most of the earthly shapes in the region, which were more constructive than they are inferior, and the leveling of the surface contributed to drawing economic life both in the field of housing patterns, agriculture, industry and transportation methods.

The study area also included soils that are considered one of the best types of soils represented by the soil of the shoulders of the rivers suitable for the cultivation of various crops, which helped to invest them in the cultivation of both winter and summer crops, in addition to the region's containment of some important industries such as the manufacture of bricks and the manufacture of asphalt, which had a prominent role in Extending the main and secondary transport routes represented by rural roads, and linking the study area with the neighboring regions and governorates, in addition to making plaster, which is one of the important construction industries in the region
