Abstract EN

The study aims to identify parental neglect and its relationship to the trend towards drug use among adolescents in Al-Diwaniyah city.

The number of individuals in the sample reached (80) adolescents, who were chosen intentionally.

For the purpose of achieving this goal, a measure of parental negligence and a measure of the trend towards drug abuse have been established.

The most important results of the study indicate that adolescents who suffer from parental neglect have a tendency towards drug use, and that there is a correlation between parental neglect and the trend towards drug use among adolescents in the city of Diwaniyah.
